FREEDOM CLIMB 2011 (Record Will Be Set, Trees Will Be Planted, Heroes Will Be Honored)

INVITATION

March 10, 2011

Dear Fellow Outdoorsmen,

Greetings!

In celebration of our National Independence, Freedom Climb is an annual event wherein mountaineers and outdoor enthusiasts from all over the country collaborate together to summit different climbing destinations simultaneously.

Now on its third year, on June 10-13, the organizers of this event shall try what has never been done before. To create a new criterion in the Guinness World Records and set a worldwide record for -- THE MOST PEOPLE TO SUMMIT DIFFERENT PEAKS within a 24-hr period.

Aside from nurturing national unity, the event aims to promote environmental awareness, conservation, preservation and protection; to campaign advocacies for responsible sportsmanship, synergism among individuals and groups, and to unite the mountaineering community to achieve greater good.

RECORDS WILL BE SET,
TREES WILL BE PLANTED,
TOURISM WILL BE PROMOTED,
HEROES WILL BE HONORED,

THE FILIPINO MOUNTAINEERS WILL TRIUMPH!

In line with this, we encourage you to have a vital role on this event and, we encourage you to represent a mountain along with our media partners, LGU, DENR, DOT & our Climb Marshalls distributed on all climb destinations for our record breaking attempt at Guinness World Records. Your Group’s participation will not only help in boosting our national pride; in uplifting the morale of mountaineers and would-be enthusiasts; rejuvenation of environmental awareness; but also will create a positive image on your group and the mountaineering community in the Philippines. The Filipino Mountaineers will now become a major player in the world when it comes to mountaineering.

Moreover, an official “Adjudicator” and representative of Guinness World Records will be coming over to our country from the United Kingdom to announce and authenticate our historic feat. Rest assured that your group may receive certification and special recognition coming from the organizers and Guinness World Records.

Attached herewith, are the details of our proposal particular to your organization and other information to help you better understand the scope of this event.

We look forward for your prompt and positive response on this request. Thank you and more power to your group.

Sincerely Yours,
